Sparked was set up in Spring 2018 as our founder, Paul Muldoon, felt there was a gap in the local market for a professional builder that could produce quality work but that also had a thorough understanding of controlling the project cost so the customer was not caught out with unforeseen costs.

Paul, a time served site carpenter, learnt his trade working for local family firm E.P.Muldoon Building Contractors Ltd and was involved in the award winning projects that the contractor built. Having seen quality building projects built the right way and learning a trade influenced Paul in setting up Sparked. The second influencing factor was the 5 ½ years at Estimators Online Limited, again another company that prides its self on its quality as well as it innovation and changing how the industry conducts itself. The time Paul spent here allowed him to gain an in-depth understanding of construction cost.

Many projects in the domestic market run over cost, some estimates put it at only 1 in 3 projects come in on time.
